Writing Reflections
 Here are the guidelines:
1.  The title should be an original, creative title for that particular reflection.  The title of the reflection should NOT be the title of the book that the student is reading.
2.  The lead, or hook to any writing composition is the most important sentence(s).   Make sure you have a lead that is interesting and makes a reader WANT to keep reading! (Descriptions, Actions, Thoughts, Exclamations, Riddles/questions or Sounds)
3.  Write about ONLY 1 thing that your reading reminds you of.  If you write about only 1 thing then you will have more DETAILS and FEELINGS in your composition.  The compositions are to be at least 2 to 3 paragraphs (about 1 page long).  Paragraph 1  - introduction with lead, Paragraph 2 - tell about one event in the book - example:  In Bunnicula, Chester thinks that Bunnicula is a vampire bunny because he is finding white vegetables.  Bunnicula has fangs like a vampire which reminds me of the snake my dad found in the pool.  Tell about the snake experience next.)  Paragraph 3 - Conclusion - sum up the book/experience (I will never forget how scary that snake was.  I wonder if its fangs were as long as Bunnicula's fangs. etc.)
